Hey everybody!  I'm Philandra. I reside in Virginia on the East Coast of the good ol' USA.  I'm a principal of a private school by day and am a gamer by night. I mostly play Counter-Strike 1.6 but have ventured into some other games ever since the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. I originally went to school for Computer Information Management Systems (combo of programming, hardware and software engineering), but teaching is in my blood - so steered another direction for my actual career. I built the whole local network for my school and all of the classroom computers, so I was still able to use those tech skills even in the education field. I've dabbled in a lot of other fields for a secondary income -- from phone actress to dispatcher and even deli clerk to customer service rep. Right now, the pandemic caused me to leave my position at the school and handle domestic responsibilities - as my family needed me closer to home.  I'm looking forward to getting into the public schools this school year, but everything is up in the air until things settle with the coronavirus. We shall see what the future holds, but the present is allowing me to game a LOT more and stay up late playing with the characters on PnC!  Hopefully I'll get to see some of y'all joining us when we're online!
